Tales of Eve - CAGED .... The Finale

On the 18th of January, Tales of Eve -CAGED  came to an end with a riveting watch and so much tension as people held to the edges of their seats as Tosan came close to execution by firing squad. The synopsis is written below.

FINAL EPISODE
Tega recalls how he got to be one to run away from his identity. After Uncle Kome died, their mothertook ill incessantly and eventually passed. Upon her death, Mazino brings a paper that said that Tega would run away from the house and not return or else he will turn him in to the police for the murder of Uncle Kome. Mazino was jealous of the fact that none of his parents particularly paid attention to him as Tosan was their father's favorite and Tega, their mum's favourite. That was how Tega fled from detention and went to a neighbouring country to hide his identity.

Femi pleads with Olaitan to take him back into her life, promising to support her dreams and being the man she always dreamed of. Olaitan is about to respond to him when Tega walks into the sitting room .Olaitan and Aunty Magaret is surprised to see Tega who has now decided to Testify. Olaitan has to quickly do something about it as Tosan is only a few hours away from execution.

Olaitan goes to her boss pleading with him with the statement from the doctor stating the cause of death.

Meanwhile Tosan is being walked by the prison warders to the execution ground. Fellow inmates say a prayer for her while some other weep for her. They were all sorry.
Tied to the execution pole, the reverend said for the prisoners their last prayer. Meanwhile inside, Tosan's family wait anxiously hoping something is done at the last minute. Just then they heard the gun shot ....

The policemen aimed and ready to shoot, Olaitan runs down with the head warder to halt the execution and declares that Tosan be untied immediately....

Tosan's family is filled with gratitude as they see Tosan. They exchange hugs, Aunty Magaret falls on her knees in prayers of gratitude. Osagie is filled with joy and hugs Tosan. Tosan promises to defend Tega.
Mazino is unrepentant and still in jail.

Tosan and Olaitan hug and have a small talk. Olaitan is taking one year leave of rigorous practice to focus on her family. Tosan doesn't know what she will do next but she has Osagie. They wish each other the best and then part ways to live happily ever after...
